BiB, short for Bakers Instrument Brokers, is an independent UK sales, marketing, distribution and service company specialising in ophthalmic instruments and associated supplies. They work directly with manufacturing partners worldwide to bring ophthalmic technology to opticians and ophthalmologists at competitive pricing, backed by their own team of service engineers for installation, training and ongoing maintenance.

An e-commerce, product catalogue, quoting and clinical resources website rebuild for a major UK ophthalmic instruments supplier brought together on one platform.
Bib's previous site ran on WordPress, with an e-commerce plugin bolted on and a separate education suite and a scatter of marketing sites sitting alongside it, each with its own login and its own content to keep in sync. We rebuilt it as one platform on dzined cloud: the shop, the clinical education content and the marketing sites now share a single account system, so customers, clinicians and students move between them without a second login.

User management
One account across the shop, the education suite and support built on Core Kit, the account system every other kit plugs into, so a customer's permissions and history follow them everywhere.
E-commerce
The product catalogue, quoting and checkout run natively on Commerce Kit rather than a WordPress plugin bolted to the side, so stock, pricing and orders all live in one place.
Online tutorials
Clinical courses and resources from the education suite sit on the same account system as the shop, so progress and completions are tied to the customer record, not a separate login.
Support requests
Support tickets are logged against the same customer record as their orders and course history through Service Kit, so the team has full context the moment a request comes in.
