Behind the scenes

Reservation KitStep 1 of 7

Reservation KitOne booking, several servicesEach service carries its own duration and a price for each stylist level. Ticking several builds one booking whose length is the sum, processing time included.
Reservation KitStylists are resourcesEvery stylist is a resource with their own working days and pricing, and the chairs are resources too. Picking one prices the appointment at their level; "anyone" leaves it open until a time is chosen.
Reservation KitA patch test booked firstThe patch test is its own five-minute booking at the front desk. Its time sets a 48 hour lead time on the colour appointment, so earlier dates are never offered.
Reservation KitOnly slots long enoughOpening hours (closed Mondays, late Thursdays) and the stylist's existing bookings decide the times. A start is only shown if the whole appointment fits before the next booking or closing.
CoreThe client becomes a person in the coreName, email and phone create a person, or match one already there. Hair notes sit with the booking so the stylist reads them before you arrive.
Reservation KitA deposit for colour, nothing for a cutColour bookings take a deposit through Stripe, logged against the booking with the balance outstanding. Cut-only bookings are confirmed without payment and settled in the salon.
Reservation KitOn the staff calendar, and in their inboxThe appointment lands on the salon calendar in the stylist's column with its deposit status. The confirmation email goes now, a reminder before the day, and a change email if it's moved.
