Reservation KitOne column for everyone workingEach stylist and the therapist is a resource with a rota, a lunch break and holidays, so the columns and the grey time come from the Team page, not from someone blocking out slots by hand. Website, phone and walk-in bookings all land in the same diary, each with its source.
Reservation KitEverything about one appointmentThe booking holds its services (priced at the stylist's level when it was booked), any deposit paid through Stripe, the client's notes and their patch test. Check in, start, move and cancel each change its status, and a move or cancel sends the client an email.
CorePhone and walk-in bookings, same rulesA booking made at the desk is checked against the rota, lunch, holidays and everyone else's busy time, exactly like one made online. A new client becomes a person in the Axle core, so the booking, payments and messages all sit on their timeline.
Reservation KitThe tillServices at the stylist's level, retail from stock, a gift voucher or discount, the deposit already paid taken off, and a tip. Paying marks the appointment completed, counts the stock down and feeds the day's takings, and rebooking puts the next visit in the diary before the client leaves.
Reservation KitSent to the card readerThe desk sends the amount to a named Stripe Terminal reader over the internet, so no app or cable is needed. The client can choose a tip on the reader, then taps their card. The payment comes back to the booking with the deposit taken online, in the same Stripe account, so refunds and payouts all happen in one place. A declined card or a cancel on the reader leaves the bill open.
Reservation KitBookings from the salon's websiteWhen a client books on hollishair.co.uk (the /hair demo), the appointment is written straight into the stylist's column with its Stripe deposit, so the desk never re-keys anything. The inbox is a list of what's arrived, with anything that needs a person flagged: a patch test not yet done, a note, a request for a call.
CoreOne card per clientContact details, consent, visits and spend live on the person in the core. Reservation Kit adds the salon's own fields: patch test date and result (valid six months), allergies, colour formulas saved at checkout, no-shows and late cancellations.
Reservation KitRotas decide what can be bookedChange someone's hours or add a holiday and the diary and the website both stop offering that time at once. Appointments already in the diary aren't moved for you; they're listed so the desk can call the client. Untick a service and that person can no longer be booked for it.
Reservation KitOne menu for the website and the deskEach service carries its time, processing time, a price per level, a deposit rule, whether it needs a patch test and whether clients can book it online. Edits apply to new bookings straight away; existing bookings keep the price they were made at.
Reservation KitA cancelled slot, offered onA cancellation frees the time and the waitlist is checked against it: the service, who they'd see, the days and times they said they can do, and whether it fits before the next booking. The offer goes by text; the booking is made in one click when they say yes.
Marketing KitReminders, and campaigns with consentConfirmations, reminders, patch test and aftercare messages belong to the booking and go to everyone. Rebook nudges and birthday offers are Marketing Kit campaigns, so they only go to clients who opted in. Merge fields are filled from the client's own appointment.
Reservation KitThe day's figures, from the tillNothing here is typed in: takings by payment method and by person, the services and retail split, tips, deposits held and kept, rebooking and no-show rates, all added up from the checkouts and the diary. Chair utilisation is booked minutes against each shift.
Shop KitRetail stock and gift vouchersProducts on the shelf are Shop Kit products, so the same stock can sell online too; every checkout counts them down and flags anything at its reorder level. Gift vouchers carry a balance and an expiry and can be part-used at the till.
