Axle / Payments
Customers pay as they order or book on your website, and the payment lands on the right order, booking and customer straight away. No separate payment system to match up at the end of the week.
Cards and Direct Debit online today, with card readers on the way.
Customers pay by card in Stripe Checkout as they order or book on your website. Orders and bookings are marked paid the moment Stripe confirms it, and refunds and disputes are logged against the same record.
Where taking money from a customer's bank account fits better than a card, for example regular or larger payments, Axle uses GoCardless.
Taking payments face to face on a card reader, at a desk, a counter or an event, straight into the same records.
What Axle does once the money is in, without anyone lifting a finger.
Stripe's confirmations mark orders and bookings paid, expired, refunded or disputed, so nobody updates them by hand.
A paid order or booking triggers its confirmation email to the customer, from your own domain.
Every payment sits on the customer's timeline in the core, next to their orders, bookings and messages.
Invoices and receipts come out as branded PDFs, and Sage and Xero exports take the figures into your accounts.
The same payments engine, shaped to each kind of business.
